WHAT IS AN ELECTROSTATIC PRECIPITATOR?

An electrostatic precipitator (ESP) is a highly efficient air pollution control technology that uses an induced electrostatic charge to remove solid particles, such as dust and other pollutants, from flue gas. ESPs are widely used in power plants, cement plants, steel mills, and other industrial facilities to reduce particulate matter emissions and other harmful pollutants. They are particularly effective in biomass-fired plants for thermal heat or electricity generation, where the flue gas typically contains high levels of particulate matter.

Compared to other air pollution control technologies, such as bagfilters or wet scrubbers, ESPs provide the least resistance to the gas flow, which means they can handle high gas volumes and maintain high collection efficiency with low-pressure drops. This translates to lower energy consumption and operating costs, as well as higher reliability and uptime. In addition, ESPs can operate at high temperatures, making them suitable for high-temperature applications, such as incinerators and boilers.

ELECTROSTATIC PRECIPITATOR & EU DIRECTIVE

At our company, we specialize in developing advanced electrostatic precipitators for biomass boilers in the energy and industrial sectors. Our ESPs are designed to fully comply with the 2015/2193 EU directive, which aims to limit emissions of certain pollutants into the air from medium combustion plants. Specifically, our technology helps to achieve a dust outlet concentration that is typically lower than 10-50 mg/Nm³, which is significantly lower than the filter’s inlet concentration and can range from 250 to 1000 (or even 2000) mg/Nm³.

DESIGN & MATERIALS

At All In Container, we use high-quality materials and components for optimal performance and reliability. Our ESPs feature long-lasting, stable high-voltage power supplies and corrosion-resistant stainless steel discharge electrodes. Moreover, our ESPs have a fully automated control system for real-time monitoring and adjustment of the electrostatic field and cleaning process. This ensures optimal efficiency and minimal maintenance requirements.

CUSTOMIZED SOLUTIONS

We provide tailored solutions for various boiler room layouts, such as flat-bottom ESP configuration, ESP with bottom hopper, and pyramid-shaped bottom filter. Our experts collaborate closely with clients to grasp their unique requirements and deliver optimal solutions for their applications. Additionally, we offer comprehensive training and maintenance services to maximize client investments and achieve peak uptime and performance.
